SCULPTURE & PAINTING

The ancient mediums of encaustic and clay offer infinite possibilities, inviting a dialogue between earth and air. Encaustic pieces, painted with the simplest of tools – the brush – dissolve the line between painting and sculpture. Organic forms emerge from plaster and wood, unfolding into shapes that feel both familiar and otherworldly.

I am continually captivated by the juxtaposition of materials — beeswax, borne aloft by winged creatures, and clay, unearthed from the ground beneath our feet. This quiet convergence of elements speaks to cycles of transformation and the unseen collaborations that shape the natural world.
